Tbilisi V. Komarovi physics and mathematics N 199 public school announces registration for a new 2016-2017 school year at Evening School. The Evening School is for the 7^th, 8^th, 9^th and 10^th grade students, who don’t study at Komarovi School and who are interested in learning mathematics ( if desired physics) through our Komarovi School Program.

Each group includes no more than 15 students.

The course duration coincides with public school academic year: from September 15, 2016 till June 15, 2017. Holidays also coincide with public school holidays. Lessons will be delivered by Komarovi teachers at Komarovi School.

Lessons in mathematics will be conducted three times a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; three lessons a day, 9 academic hours a week. The lessons start at 15:30 and finish at 18:00.

Tuition fees for the mathematics course in the Evening School are 1000 GEL for 2015-2016 year.

Fees are to be paid in two phases:

Phase 1: no later than 12^th September, 2015- 500 GEL

Phase 2: no later than 10^th January- 500 GEL

Registration will be from 31^st August to 11^th September 2015.

Students who gain 10, 11, 12, 13 or 14 points at Komarovi mathematics exam, will be accepted without writing a test.

Admission writing test at Evening School will be conducted at Komarovi School, on  September 5 ,2015 at 10:00.

Results will be known no later than September 8. A Parent-School contract can be signed after receiving a positive answer to the test. Payment must be made until September 12, 2015

1.     Objective:

1.1  find talented pupils who are interested  in learning mathematics and physics.

1.2  Teach project participant pupils advanced program in mathematics.

1.3  Motivate pupils to love mathematics.

1.4  Motivate pupils to love learning, develop their ability to work.

1.5  Raise pupils’interest in participating competitions.

2.    Project participants

2.1  Pupils who are interested in learning mathematics and are not studying at LPPL V. Komarovi Tbilisi physics and mathematics N 199 public school.

2.2  LPPL V. Komarovi Tbilisi physics and mathematics N 199 public school mathematics teachers participate in this project.

2.3  A contract between the school and the parent is signed in written form or by an e-mail.

2.4  Pupil’s attending the lesson automatically means that the contract enters into force.

3.  Preconditions for enrolling in “ Evening School”

3.1  Preconditions for enrolling in “Evening School” are earning high scores at entrance examination.

3.2  The pupils who scored 10 or more points at mathematics examination will be enrolled in “Evening School” if desired.

4.   Methodical means for achieving success

4.1  LPPL V. Komarovi Tbilisi physics and mathematics N 199 public school “Evening School” offers the students mathematics course for advanced level school according to the national curriculum.

4.2  Thematic lesson plans will be introduced to the pupils beforehand.

4.3  Homework is checked daily, pupils are graded weekly.

4.4  Independent Class and test writing will be held according to due schedule, given to the pupils beforehand, according to the covered material.

5.  To achieve goals, the school provides:

5.1  No more than 15 pupils in each class.

5.2  High level education at “Evening School”lessons.

5.3  Discipline during the lessons and breaks.

Lessons in physics will be conducted once a week, on Tuesday, or Thursday, three academic hours a day, three hours a week. The lessons will start at 15:30 and will end at 18”00.

Entire course costs 400 GEL for 2015-2016 academic year. 

Fees are to be paid in two phases:

Phase 1: no later than 20 September, 2015- 200 GEL

Phase 2: no later than 10 January, 2016- 200 GEL

Payment must be made separately in the same way, into the same account.

Lessons start on September 14, 2015- at 15:30.
